WINNING THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS SHOT TRACK RACE & SETTING ALL TIME RECORDS

Derek Thorn lead every green flag lap at the 55th running of the Snowball Derby.  Thorn was the most dominant in Snowball Derby race history, as Thorn led 846 of 918 laps over the past three years.

 Gomes was the highest finishing driver in the 55th Snowball Derby who was making his first Derby start. He started 8th, and finished 9th. Winning $10.000 for Rookie of the Race. Team Gomes also won the 2023 SRL Winter Showdown netting him $25000.00 all cash inside the trophy  

This is what you do when you only had maybe 3 hours sleep, then rush to catch your plane (6am) and it gets delayed 7 hours.
